The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks is more than just a major sporting event – it is a movement for the entire city and its people. We, Laufstatt Event gGmbH, are the new organisers of the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks – professionally positioned and with an experienced team in the fields of security, traffic planning, event management, marketing and communication.

Our mission: Running for everyone.

As a non-profit organisation, we actively promote sports and social projects. Our commitment extends far beyond race day

  1. Promoting youth sports: We support Bavarian clubs in promoting physical activity among children and young people.
  2. Inclusion & Accessibility: The Munich Marathon will be open to everyone – regardless of age, physical condition or social background.
  3. Charity projects: We cooperate with Special Olympics Bavaria and other non-profit organisations to make sports accessible to everyone.
  4. Year-round running activation: Through regular training offers, workshops and community runs, we integrate running firmly into Munich city life.

The new concept not only focuses on improved routing and a unique event experience, but also places a high value on sustainability, inclusion and intergenerational participation.

Our team combines know-how and many years of experience in the areas of security, traffic planning, event management, marketing and communication. With a mix of experienced marathon organisers, communication professionals and security experts, we ensure that the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks is not only a sporting highlight, but also a sustainable event with social added value. Our goal is to promote sports and exercise for all age groups.

We are delighted with the trust that has been placed in us and are keen to continue developing the marathon in Munich. Our goal is to not only inspire runners with a well-thought-out concept, but also to make a positive contribution to the state capital.
