Marathon relay: overcoming 42,195 km as a team.

You can register via the official website of MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks. The registration is possible until September 28, 2025.

Late registration is only possible online and will take place a few days before the race up to the Sunday of the marathon until 8:00 am.

If your registration was successful, you will receive an official registration confirmation by e-mail.

The pickup of your bib number will take place from Friday to Sunday (October 10-12, 2025) in the Olympic Park.

A valid photo ID and confirmation of participation are required for your personal pickup.

Otherwise, collection by an authorised person is possible. This requires a private handwritten power of attorney and an identification document of the authorised person.

Shipment of your starting documents is currently only within Germany possible. We charge a fee of 7,50€ for it.

Shipment of your starting documents is possible. We charge a fee of 15 € within Germany and 20 € within the EU for it.

You can order a MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks running shirt and merchandise for your race. The voucher for collection will be in your Runner’s Bag which is given to you with your bib number.

It is also possible to order online. You will soon find the shop here on this page.

Starting area: Olympic Park

By public transport:

• Underground: U3/U8 to the stop “Olympiazentrum”
• Tram: Line 20/21 to the stop “Olympiapark West” (+ approx. 10 min walk)

By car:

Access is possible from all directions via the “Mittlerer Ring” (A8, A9, A92, A94, A96 and A99). Follow the signs for “Olympiapark”.

Car parking facilities are limited. Parking fees are charged according to the rates of the Munich Olympic Park:

• 8,00 EUR for cars
• 25,00 EUR for buses and motorhomes

Take the underground line U3/U6 to the stop “Universität”

Second changeover (Tivolistraße):

Take the underground U3/U6 to the stop “Gieselastraße” + approx. 12min walk

Third changeover (Werksviertel):

By public transport:

• S-Bahn: S1-S8 to the stop “Ostbahnhof”
• Underground: U5 to the stop “Ostbahnhof”
• Tram: Line 19 to the stop “Ostbahnhof”
• Metrobus: 54, 55, 62 to the stop “Ostbahnhof”
• City bus: 100, 145, 155, 187 to the stop “Ostbahnhof” (+ approx. 10min walk)

By car:

The best way to get there is from the east via Friedensstraße into the Werksviertel.

Parking facilities in the car parks are limited. Parking fees are charged according to the tariffs of the respective car parks (e.g. “Autospeicher” or “Autosaal”).

We recommend travelling by public transport.

On race day, your changing clothes can be safely stored so that you can freshen up straight after the run.

Clothes drop-off:

The clothes drop-off will take place before the run in the Olympic Park. Please plan enough time, so you don’t get in a hurry. You can only hand in your Runner’s Bag that was given to you with your bib number. It’s important to label you bag, so they can be kept apart from each other later. Therefore, mark your bib number clearly on the Runner’s Bag.

Additional sports bags or larger items can be deposited in exchange for a fee at the cloakroom at the Infopoint.

Make sure that all your valuables are safely stowed away so that you can fully concentrate on your race.

Changing facilities:

To change before or after the run, changing rooms are available directly in the Olympic Park.

Every finisher receives a finisher’s medal at the finish. To make your experience even more unique, you have the option of having your medal engraved.

Medal engraving

• When: On the sunday of the marathon
• Costs: 
  • 15 EUR when buying on site
  • 12,50 EUR for pre-ordered vouchers (you will get these with your bib number and Runner’s Bag in advance)

If you already have a voucher, you can use it directly at the engraving stand.

Award ceremony:

The official award ceremony for all races will also take place in the Olympic Park. The fastest runners will be honoured for their fantastic performance.

You can find your personal results and your certificate after the run at www.marathonmuenchen.org. They will then be available for you to download and print out.

It is not possible to send the certificates by mail.

After the finish, proper regeneration is essential. There are changing facilities, showers and physiotherapists available in the Olympic Park. Here you can freshen up and recharge your batteries before celebrating your success.

• Access: Free of charge with your bib number as access pass

Take the opportunity to refresh yourself and finish the run with a good feeling.

Physiotherapy for tired muscles 

After showering, physiotherapists will be available to help you regenerate. A soothing treatment can help to relieve tension and relax the body.

• Note: Due to hygienic reasons, a shower is required before the treatment.
