Registration is exclusively via a free group registration by the teachers – for the whole class. The registration deadline is 27 September.

1 KM: Die ideale Einstiegsdistanz – perfekt für erste Laufmomente und jüngere Jahrgänge. Hier steht der Spaß an der Bewegung im Vordergrund: entspannt loslaufen, gemeinsam als Klasse ins Ziel kommen und die Stimmung im Olympiapark genießen.

3 KM: Etwas mehr Herausforderung für alle, die sich zutrauen, länger durchzuhalten – ideal für erfahrenere Läuferinnen und Läufer und höhere Jahrgangsstufen. Ein tolles Lauferlebnis mit echtem Wettkampf-Feeling.

Start & Finish: Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz in the Olympiapark

Start time 1 KM: 10:30 a.m.

Start time 3 KM: 11:30 a.m.

Access to the start and finish area is only possible with an official bib number.

To account for the different running speeds, the children start in staggered start blocks by age group. This way, every child can run at their own pace and enjoy the run to the fullest.

Every pupil receives a personal bib number for the School Run. Participation is only possible with this bib. As it is personalised, it cannot be passed on to others. Please attach it with the safety pins clearly visible on the front, at chest height.

The pre-prepared bib numbers can be collected by the teachers from Monday, 5 October, to Thursday, 8 October 2026, at Sport Schuster. In urgent cases, the bibs can alternatively be collected on the morning of 9 October 2026 in the Olympiapark.

Two age-appropriate distances are available: 1 kilometre and 3 kilometres.

Timing: The official timing is recorded by the transponder integrated into the bib number. The times achieved can also be used as a performance record.

Class ranking: The class ranking is based on the average of the results of all participating pupils in a class. The top three places per year group are honoured.

Special award: The school with the most participants receives a special prize.

Around the run, we offer additional programming so that the whole school day can be dedicated to movement and sport in the Olympiapark.
