European Championship ninth-placer and finalist at the 10 KM Run
Tereza Hrochová, one of Europe’s top runners, will line up over 10 kilometres. In the men’s race, Niklas Buchholz, a European Championship finalist in the 3,000 metres steeplechase, will be on the start line.
Thurley vs. Hille: The elite field for the Sport Schuster Halbmarathon by Brooks
German champion vs. silver medallist: Tom Thurley and Erik Hille meet at the Sport Schuster Halbmarathon by Brooks on 11 October, joined by strong runners from Sweden, Portugal and Denmark.
International class meets Germany’s marathon elite

The pop-up bib number pickup started today, and with it the marathon week has begun for our 2,000 volunteers. Thank you to everyone at bib pickup, at the supply stations, out on the course and at the finish.
Bib number pickup: here’s where to collect your race documents
You’ll receive your bib number together with your runner’s bag on presentation of your QR code, on Friday and Saturday at the Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park. Sunday morning is an emergency pickup only.
Pop-up bib number pickup at Sporthaus Schuster: all slots are booked
Update: All slots for the pop-up bib number pickup at Sporthaus Schuster are booked. If you have a slot, collect your bib number within your booked time slot. Everyone else can pick theirs up at the Olympic Hall on 9 and 10 October.
More than 40,000 runners are taking part
More than 40,000 runners will be taking part in the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks over the weekend of 11 October, supported by 2,000 volunteers. Plus three days of Runners Festival in the Olympic Park, with free entry.

Automobilforum Kuttendreier is the official vehicle partner of the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks. On 11 October a fully electric Ford Explorer leads the field and a Ford Capri brings up the rear.

Registration closes on 27 September. Until then you can edit your account, change your target time and T-shirt size, correct your details or transfer your entry. After that, no more changes are possible.

Hydraid is the new hydration partner of the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks. On 11 October the Hydraid Hydration Helper in Lemon will be available at every aid station and in the finish area.

Möbel Höffner becomes new presenter of the marathon relay
Möbel Höffner is the new presenter of our relay, which now carries the name Höffner Marathon Staffel. Four runners share the marathon distance on 11 October, with the handover at the exchange point and the time belonging to the whole team.
Pasta Party on 10 October: the right base for race day
On Saturday 10 October, the Pasta Party runs from 1 to 6 p.m. behind Biergarten Coubertin as part of the Runners Festival. Book your portion for €8.50 with your registration, or get one on site for €11.50.

Suunto is Official Timing Partner of the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks. On 11 October our pacemakers will be out across all three distances, in the marathon from 3:00 to 5:00 hours, marked by their Suunto flags.

All entries for the Sport Schuster Half Marathon by Brooks on October 11, 2026 are taken – the biggest half marathon field Munich has ever seen! Vouchers remain valid and bib transfers run via the official ticket portal. Registration is still open for the marathon, 10K run, and relay.

How does your heart find its rhythm again after a marathon? The HEART-BEAT study investigates the recovery phase after the race – and the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks is an official study site. Anyone registered for the marathon distance on October 11, 2026 can take part. Includes a free personal analysis of your heart rhythm.

Premiere in 2026: Munich School Run to Be Held in the Olympic Park for the First Time
A première for Munich’s next generation: on 9 October 2026, we’re hosting the first Munich School Run in the Olympiapark – free for all school classes, over 1 km and 3 km.
