From the Werksviertel to the Olympic Park
The 10 KM Run starts on Sunday, 11 October, at 1:30 p.m. at Knödelplatz in the Werksviertel and finishes on Willi-Daume-Platz in the Olympic Park. Due to a net drop of 21 metres, the course is not eligible for record purposes and cannot be used for direct championship qualification. However, times count towards the World Athletics Ranking with a points deduction.
