MAKE IT YOURS. RUN MUNICH.

The pop-up bib number pickup at Sporthaus Schuster started today, and with it the marathon week has begun for our volunteers. There’s a lot of organisation behind it, and even more time spent together: briefings, preparation meetings and conversations that have turned many individuals into one team.

Many of them were here last year too and know exactly where to go. Others are on board for the first time. Together, that’s 2,000 people making this weekend possible.

Where you’ll meet them over the weekend

From Friday to Sunday you’ll come across them almost everywhere, long before you reach the course.

  • Bib number pickup at the Olympic Hall on Friday and Saturday
  • Munich School Run on Friday, Dallmayr Coffee Run and Kids Run on Saturday
  • Clothes drop-off at the Olympic Hall and in the Werksviertel
  • Course marshals along every distance
  • Supply and water stations
  • Finish catering at Willi-Daume-Platz

We prepare the event together with organisations for people with disabilities, for example when packing the runner’s bags. This way, inclusion is not just a big word, but is actively lived.

Our patron, Lord Mayor Dominik Krause, writes in his welcome note in the Runner’s Guide: “My thanks go to the organising team at Laufstatt Event gGmbH, the 2,000 volunteers, the emergency services, and everyone who makes this special weekend possible.”
