Premiere in 2026: Munich School Run to Be Held in the Olympic Park for the First Time
MAKE IT YOURS. RUN MUNICH.
A première for Munich’s next generation: this year, we’re hosting the Munich School Run for the first time! On Friday, 9 October 2026, the Olympiapark becomes a running stage in the morning for pupils from all primary and secondary schools. Supported by the Department of Education and Sport and by Deputy Mayor for Sport Verena Dietl and Florian Kraus.
Registration is exclusively via a free group registration by the teachers – for the whole class. The teachers collect the personalised bib numbers in advance at Sport Schuster (Mon, 5 to Thu, 8 October).
Around the run, we offer additional programming, so that the whole school day can be dedicated to movement and sport in the Olympiapark.
