MAKE IT YOURS. RUN MUNICH.

The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks 2025 will transform the city into a huge street party on 12 October. Along the 42.195-kilometre route, bands, DJs, food trucks and spectators will provide unique moments and lasting motivation. From West African drum rhythms and samba percussion to Munich brass band music and DJs, each cheering zone has its own sound and energy.

Fans can expect a pure marathon atmosphere right from the start and finish area in the Olympic Park. Here, the group Naani Kiri & Friends will get the runners moving with West African rhythms, ensuring that the start feels like a small festival. On Ackermannstraße, União do Samba will cheer on the runners with Brazilian percussion and colourful costumes, making you feel like Munich is running and dancing at the same time.

Things get particularly loud in the city centre: at Odeonsplatz, spectators can look forward to the large Brooks Cheering Zone, a highlight for anyone who wants to experience the excitement up close. Here, Brooks provides wow moments with music, DJ sounds and commentary.

Just a few hundred metres further on, in Rosenstraße, the Sport Schuster Cheering Zone invites you to another atmospheric highlight. Right in front of the traditional Sport Schuster store, people celebrate with music and loud cheers. The zone is dedicated to the Sport Schuster community, which gives the runners another decisive motivational boost for the final sprint.

But it’s not just music that creates excitement: along the route, numerous food stalls and food trucks invite you to linger and enjoy everything from crepes, pizza and coffee bikes to regional snacks.

Around 30 music and atmosphere zones transform Munich into a continuous party mile on this day. From the first few metres in the Olympic Park to the finish line amid applause. The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks stands not only for sporting excellence, but also for a communal experience that connects the whole city.
