Now online: Details of the 2025 marathon route

Streckendetails zum MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks

MAKE IT YOURS. RUN MUNICH – we’ll show you how.

Starting today, we will be presenting one route from the MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks 2025 every day. We’ll kick things off with the marathon, followed by the half marathon tomorrow and then the 10K run. Discover the new routes – officially measured and already recognised by World Athletics, the international athletics association.

The MARATHON MÜNCHEN by Brooks stands for an urban and unique running experience. This year, there are some new route features: for the first time, the marathon will be a one-lap course through the Sendlinger Tor and the modern Werksviertel district – a stage with a live atmosphere and culinary hotspots. Of course, the classics such as Marienplatz, Siegestor, Odeonsplatz, the English Garden and the start/finish area in the Olympic Park will remain.

The half marathon also offers a real city centre experience: starting in the Olympic Park, through the city centre to the turning point at Sendlinger Tor and back via Rindermarkt and Siegestor. The 10-kilometre route starts in the Werksviertel district for the first time and leads via Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz and Siegestor to the finish line in the Olympic Park. For all team fans, our relay race has new, easily accessible changeover points – including at Professor-Huber-Platz (km 10), Tivolistraße (km 21) and in the Werksviertel district (km 32).

With our countdown, we show a detailed route every day – including a map and highlights. Also on social media. Share the posts, tag your friends and become part of the community. Registration is open until 26 September. So: MAKE IT YOURS. RUN MUNICH. We look forward to seeing you there!
